Catherine Van Alstyne, 82, of Dunsbach Road died Monday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a short illness.
Mrs. Van Alstyne was born in Latham. She had resided in Clifton Park for the past 50 years.
She retired in 1973 after working in the mail-order department of Montgomery Ward & Co. for 20 years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Crescent.
Mrs. Van Alstyne was the widow of Russell E. Van Alstyne Sr. She is survived by two sons, Russell E. Van Alstyne Jr. …
