Troy Two days after John Goodbred was sentenced for stealing from the Troy Housing Authority, commissioners there began to discuss whether and how they can discipline him.
Goodbred admitted stealing items from the authority and was sentenced Tuesday to three years' probation, 100 hours of community service, a $3,000 fine and $1,556 in restitution. He pleaded guilty to stealing $100 worth of paint, but that plea also settled charges of taking other items from the authority.
Goodbred resigned as acting executive secretary of the housing authority on entering his plea, but he remains on the payroll as a $62,347 housing …
